Note to self,

Whenever looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, in the northeastern portion of the United States, look no further than this haven of tranquility. We have discovered the quaint Chebeague Island Inn. This slice of Americana is found in the heart of Casco Bay and is the ideal shoreline getaway to relax and unwind. We took advantage of the Inn’s “unplugged” nature as there are no TVs or phones in the 21 individually designed guestrooms, allowing us to truly rest. The simple elegance of coastal New England is evident throughout the property from their state-of-the-art copper bar, L.L Bean Bicycles, and the local art that is sprinkled in every guestroom. In addition to the charming details of the island Inn, the Chebeague Island Inn Restaurant is regarded as the top fine-dining experience in the area and known for its innovative cuisine while incorporating fresh, local ingredients from the island farm and Chef’s garden out back. For travelers looking to get the full Maine experience, guests can throw on a cozy sweater and set up a private beach bonfire or participate in sunset cocktail cruises aboard classic schooners and experience the remarkable views of Casco Bay. Extra special note that the Inn is seasonal, open approximately May – October only, so manage stress well in the other months.

Best,
