Barbados is celebrating the Year of Culinary Experiences and, in recent years, the island has gotten plenty of recognition for its innovative food concepts. Winner of Top Chef in the Caribbean ‘Chef of the Year,’ Damian Leach, for example, is pushing boundaries with its trendy Cocktail Kitchen, perched on the corner of the iconic St. Lawrence Gap. Cocktail Kitchen pairs great food with, you guessed it, a tantalizing list of signature cocktails. Menu items include smoked black belly lamb risotto, Caribbean seafood curry and the traditional pudding and souse.
