Located in San Francisco’s Potrero Flat, The Morris is the first project between renowned sommelier Paul Einbund (Frances, Octavia) and chef/partner Gavin Schmidt (Coi, Campton Place), opened in Fall 2016. A neighborhood restaurant spotlighting both a playful and elevated food and wine program, the menu at The Morris honors the agricultural and culinary diversity of Northern California. Chef Schmidt highlights regional ingredients through signatures like the Smoked Duck served with root vegetables, and wide selection of nibbles, including Shrimp Toast with grapefruit and avocado and charcuterie made and cured in house. Accompanying the seasonally-rotating menu is an extensive beverage program led by Einbund that showcases a comprehensive and eclectic wine list, as well as a wide selection of Madeira wines and Chartreuse, along with expertly-crafted cocktails.
